March 11, 2017 - Bibb Co, AL

On a rainy Saturday, a number of BPS members braved the weather to collect in a quarry in Bibb County.  Numerous brachiopods, a few trilobites, a whole sponge, and bryozoans were found.

 

April 3, 2017 BPS Program “Big questions about little invertebrates: using phylogenomics to study the evolution of Mollusca.”

Our speaker for March is Dr. Kevin Kocot, assistant professor in Biological Sciences at The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and the curator of invertebrate zoology at the Alabama Museum of Natural History.
