T. rex Seminar by Dr. Roger Sauterer, Noon, Oct. 29, UAB Hill University Center Auditorium

On Monday, October 29, 2007, Dr. Roger Sauterer will present a noon lecture titled Fast Times in the Cretaceous: The Life and Times of Tyrannosaurus rex. The seminar will be held at UAB, in the Alumni Auditorium at Hill University Center. The lecture is sponsored by Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society.

Dr. Sauterer is currently Associate Professor of Biology at Jacksonville State University, and recently gave a lecture at the Anniston Museum of Natural History titled The Life, Adaptations and Relatives of the T. rex. This lecture was in conjunction with the traveling exhibit, "A T. rex Named Sue" . Sue is on loan from The Field Museum in Chicago, and will be shown at the ANMH through January 6, 2008.
