The next meeting of the BPS will be Monday, January 5, 2009, 7-9 pm at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama.  

The speaker will be James Lamb, Curator of Paleontology at McWane Science Center.

This will be a concurrent Annual Meeting, Directors Meeting, and Regular Business meeting.  Members will conduct the annual election of Officers and Directors at this meeting, followed by the installation ceremony. The Awards Committee will be honoring numerous individuals for their various contributions to the group, including hard work and events that provided us with hours of laughter and entertainment!

Free parking, enter the McWane parking deck from 2nd Ave. NORTH and proceed to yellow level "C".  Enter door marked "Special Events" and turn left to the large auditorium.
 
Optional supper prior to the meeting (Dutch treat) at 5:00 at Nabeel's, 1706 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL, a block from the Homewood Public Library.
